robe and slippers for hospital
Did you bring Robe and slippers to the hospital? If so, regular robe or maternity? Where did you get it?

I did not bring a robe, I did bring slippers but my hospital gave you sock slippers that I used instead. IMO- you won't want a robe.

Re: robe and slippers for hospital
I brought a robe and slippers and im so glad i did. My room was freezing and i also had to walk to the nursery so a robe & slippers were definitely essential for me.

Re: robe and slippers for hospital
I did bring a robe, but it wasn't a thick heavy robe nor a maternity one. It was a simple black robe and light and I wore it over my nursing tanks. Actually I lived in that robe for like 3 wks after I came home. I got it at Target. So glad I brought it very comfy.
Slippers- no i brought flip flops instead.

Re: robe and slippers for hospital
I didn't bring or need a robe. I brought a zip up sweatshirt which I got so much use out of. And i brought a pair of flip flops and a pair of crocs. The slipper socks the hospital gave me was perfect for the first day than I just wore my crocs or flip flops after that. I'm normally a slipper person at home, but didn't need them in the hospital. I was also wearing regular clothes in the hospital every day.

Ditto, loved their slipper socks with the grip on the bottom. Just used them. Even took some home with me. LOL!
I did bring a robe as well and used it, but more like a sweatshirt over my clothes b/c it was cool

Re: robe and slippers for hospital
Only brought my house slippers. I did use the grippy socks they provided but they were big for my feet so I had to double up on socks. Didn’t bring a robe. I was in the hospital gown until I left. Much easier to use while I was BF.

Re: robe and slippers for hospital
I brought flip flops for the shower, slippers with a rubber sole and a robe. I didn't get a maternity robe, just a size bigger than I am normally...It was a light cotton robe (it was August)...I think I got it at kohls with a nightgown that matched.

Re: robe and slippers for hospital
IMO you don't really need either. I didn't use the robe I brought; not even once and as far as slippers. I didnt use them either. I hardly left my room so socks were fine!

I am bringing a very thin robe that I got at the gap. It is not a maternity robe and like i said very thin almost like a long cardigan with a tie. I am also bringing flip flops and flip flop terry slippers that I got at old navy

Re: robe and slippers for hospital
I didn't bring either. I wore the hospital gown and sometimes threw a second one on the other way as a robe, but it was hard to BF with it on and I was mainly sitting in a chair (c/s), so just used a blanket
I used the hospital slipper socks too

I brought my regular robe which I wore when I went to the shower down the hall. No slippers for me, but I was thankful for the slipper socks the hospital gave me!

Re: robe and slippers for hospital
i did bring a robe and i lived in it. it was black and i was so worried about bleeding through everything that it gave me comfort when i had guests. it was a very lightweight cotton robe down to my knees from GAP Body. it also came in handy when i got the chills and shakes when my milk came in. i would wake up freezing in the middle of the night and it was nice to have it to wrap around me.
i also got the most amazing slippers from Target for like $8 - lightweight, cotton, comfy.
i would bring both.
