Ringwood NJ?
Ringwood, Lincoln Park and Wychoff?? Any feedback on these areas of Jersey??

I live in a town next to Lincoln Park. Location wise I love the area for proximity to all major highways and stuff. School district is average.
Just be careful in Lincoln Park because there are of flooding areas there so do you homework on any home you might consider.

A friend of mine, is from Ringwood, it is more rural, further from NYC and he went to private HS which tells me school district might not be the best though I could be wrong.
Wychoff is closer to NYC and I think less rural, better schools. Ridgewood is even better.
Again this based on friends who live in Ridgewood but they spoke to me about it when they were deciding where to buy

I live in the South Bergen part of Jersey but haven't heard too much about those towns you mentioned. Wyckoff is near Ridgewood which is expensive but a great town. Reminds me of Garden City.
Lincoln has flooding issues and Ringwood is supposed to be pretty safe.
If you haven't visited the nj data forum, check it out and post your question there. Folks are very helpful and straight forward.

I live in northern Bergen county and looked at a lot of homes in Wyckoff and I really like the town - its a nice place to live-very family oriented.Good location
Ringwood has a few nice areas but is the biggest pain to get in and out of
In bad weather they close main rd-skyline erive a lot plus there are so many hills. I personally couldnt live there bc its so far from everything
Lincon park has some nice areas but
you need to be careful that home is not in flood zone

You better have some serious 4x4 wheels if you want to live in Ringwod. This is so true. Definitely out of the way from everything.
I have driven on that road Skyline Drive. It's not for the faint of heart when the weather gets bad.

Lincoln Park has many many flood prone areas, which would require flood insurance, not to mention actual flooding problems. Schools are good until you get to the HS- Boonton High is NOT good. Nearby is Pequannock and Pompton Plains, which also has some flood prone areas, but very lovely town. Great schools.
Ringwood- as mentioned, is nice, but has some shady areas. Difficult to get in and out of in bad weather, and kind of a trek to get to places.
Don't know much about Wyckoff.
