RHONJ Teresa's SIL Joins The Cast
In what can be best described as a real life soap opera, RadarOnline is reporting today that Melissa Gorga, sister-in-law to Teresa Giudice has joined the cast of the Real Housewives of New Jersey!
Even more shocking? Radar reports Bravo has already began filming Melissa for weeks! A Giudice family source tells Radar, “She [Melissa] is not replacing her [Teresa]. I think Melissa is actually Dina’s replacement.”
Radar reports that not all the current housewives have officially signed off on a new season. TMZ reported yesterday that Teresa is holding off on signing on because she wants more money from Bravo. Similar to what has been reported of the NYC Housewives, TMZ states that Teresa wants Jersey Shore cash, or $30,000 per episode to be exact.
A source tells TMZ Teresa is “asking for a cut of the DVD and merchandise sales … freedom to make more paid appearances … and her salary DOUBLED.” Teresa is reportedly ready to walk away if Bravo doesn’t give her what she wants by September 3, when filming on the third season is scheduled to begin.
But back to Melissa, her addition to the show could be genius, as we reported yesterday that a source revealed to us that Melissa and Teresa do not get along. Melissa even reportedly complained about Teresa not allowing her young daughter to ride in the Limo with Gia and her friends during Gia’s birthday celebration.
As for Melissa, a source tells Radar she used to do paperwork for her husband Giuseppe Gorga as his secretary, before becoming his housewife. Talk about a come up.
The source adds that Melissa’s husband/Teresa’s younger brother is in real estate and that the Gorgas’ extravagant lifestyle will put the Giudices to shame. “Their house is actually twice the size as Joe and Teresa’s. It’s enormous! She has two live-in nannies and lives in a $4 million mansion on an exclusive lot in Montville. Teresa and Joe’s house looks like a garage compared to theirs.”
It’s likely that Danielle Staub’s nephew comment is what got this ball rolling. Something tells us this upcoming season will be good!

I heard this on the Today Show... this is the SIL that I randomly sat with at the Ladybug event this past Spring. I can totally see this.... her pics from her house look amazing and I can see her fitting in.
Just wish they'd bring Dina back!

When you posted the pic the other day... I thought, hmmm, I wonder if she'll be on at all? I thought at Ladybug that she seemed like she would fit!

I can see Teresa competing with her SIL, especially with the kids and bigger house.
For some reason, I have a bad feeling about Teresa and Caroline's friendship. I think Caroline has had enoug of Teresa.
I can't wait for the 3rd season.

ITA...but I do not think they are together all that much aside from filming and appearences so I think Caroline is likely to keep it to herself, kwim?

I agree! And her blog was almost a swan song goodbye! I know she has been working on various things.
