Retention question

If your school holds meetings to decide on retentions, what did you bring with you to be prepared?

I was thinking grades, running records, sample work

What else?

How does your principal go about deciding?

We meet with a committee made up of the principal, sp. ed teacher, reading teacher, speech teacher, psychologist and classroom teacher. We fill out a retention scale and sort of go from there. We also meet with the parents to discuss it with them so they are involved in the decision.
