Re: restlessness

i definitely do. i usually go with changing my hair (either chop it or change the color somewhat) and it usually resolves the restlessness.

more hair products, more hair styling
more hairspray

my hair is thin and pin straight...
so to have ANY body at all i had to work MIRACLES...
had to spend like 1 hour on my hair alone

I do - I try to change things that are only temporary changes . . . . The last change (my hair cut) I am so rgretting and can't wait to have my hair back. I have learned to not only go temporary, but short term temporary-Chat Icon

Re: restlessness

I haven't had a change in a while. When I was younger I used to change my haircolor alll the time. Now, I haven't dyed my hair in 5 years.
Lately I have been wanting to get my hair thermal reconditioned... and after seeing Sandra's post the other day I want to do it even more!

NOT when you have pin straight hair...
i barely have to bloe dry it

when my hair is short it lays way too flat..
in comes the hairspray, curling irons/rollers, mouse BLEH

Yes, but usually it has to do with getting myself more focused and organized, and wanting to try new hobbies and crap like that.

usually it's hair color/cut phases I go through and I'm going through that phase right now-hopefully to be resolved by next weekChat Icon
In response to the short hair=more work(Red), I totally agree. I had short hair, pixie short at one point and it was a project! My hair is wavy/curly and it was so much more maintenance to keep up-gel/mousse, even blow drying! never againChat Icon

Re: restlessness

I totally get what you guys are saying about the restless phase... I used to change my hair around SO often, now I've just let it grow and grow (its the longest its been in YEARS Chat Icon) and I cannot figure out whether to chop it, layer it, just color/highlight it or none of the above ! Chat Icon

I do get what you are saying about short hair, Red. ANYTIME I've cut my hair shoulder length or so, its 10000x MORE work then the way it is now when its long.. I hardly use any product curently or even have to bother blowing my hair out the way it currently is.. and then I have the option to just wear it up when I'm lazy. But when its short I can spend 1 hr on it and it never looks right unless I WORK at it Chat Icon

Re: restlessness

I often get restless with my hair and used to go through phases of putting in highlights and then dye-ing my hair back to my natural dark brown. Haven't done the highlights in almost two years though.

I used to be very adventurous with cutting my hair too - I used to cut off inches and inches of hair - i once went from middle of my back to right under my ears in one shot - but I don't have the guts to do things like that anymore!!Chat Icon

Yes, but I usually change my hair color or buy something clothing wise that is unexpected. A few weeks back, I added another hole to my ears.

Re: restlessness

I try not to change my appearance as much as I try to change my activities. Something as small as a new workout, meeting up with old friends for lunch or trying a new activity can really be a cure for restlessness.
