i never heard of that restuarant but sardis is really nice a little pricey but so worth it

Asia de Cuba is more of a people watching place.

Asia De Cuba is fun and good for groups. Definitely a scene. It's not in the Theater District though.
DH and I really like Thalia in the Theater District. Reasonably priced, cool atmosphere, great food.
