Are you looking fancy or just casual? There is a few down Merrick Avenue, like TGI Friday's and Bertucci's. Further east on Hempstead Tpke there is a Friendly's.

There is a family style restaurant in the Marriot right next door to Nassau Coliseum. Sorry I can't think of the name right now Chat Icon

Re: Restaurant by Nassau Coliseum

I second Borelli's- they make the best pizza! its great too- because it is literally right down the block from the colliseum. If you were coming from out east, and you are on the meadowbrook, just take the exit for Hempstead Tpke East (instead of going West to go to the Colliseum), and it will be on the right hand side right.

Not a Borelli's fan ...

In the area are Houlihans, TGIF, Bertucci's, Macaroni Grill, Cheesecake Factory, Zorns, Runyons, Majors ... stuff at the Roosevelt Field mall ... totally depends on what you are looking for ...

I don't know what I am looking for. I don't know what is around (except right IN the mall of course, but I don't want to go to the mall)

Borelli's *is* the closest if italian will do. Again, I'm not a big fan.

Bertuccis, Houlihans & TGIF are all in a row on Merrick Avenue just a few minutes from the Coliseum.
