I visited my friend in the hospital and held her hours old baby two weeks before having DS #2...nothing happened. I have never heard of that before??

I have never heard of that...I was thinking more along the lines of you getting germs from the hospital.  Congrats to your friend!

I have never heard this before. My best friend gave birth to her 3rd child when I was pregnant with my second, I saw her in the hospital several times during her 4 days there, and was at her house the week she was home.
