Repurposing toys/baby items
I thought we could start a thread with different ways to repurpose our stuff to get more mileage out of them. Can you share what you've done?
Two I can think of:
1) Instead of buying a fancy milk bag holder for the freezer to storage BM bags, I uses an ice cube bin and line them up in there (holds about 10 bags). I use large freezer ziplocs to organize the other stash in groups of ten as well
2) I threw a small colorful blanket over Ryan's rainforest activity mat and at 10-months he still plays with it b/c I've made it into a tent. He lays under it on his back and I stick my head in and we watch the lights in the dark tent

Ella did that to Erik's mat . She also makes a tent out of her highchair, and uses her learning table for tea parties.
I re-use the plastic gerber food containers to carry snacks. Use a shoebox in their drawers to keep socks organized.

I made a bowling pin set out of the puffs canisters. I washed them out and kept six of them. I use a regular ball with DS and we roll it towrds them and he is happy with his bowling pin set.
