Renter's Insurance
I am looking for a new company any recommendations? Travelers and Progressive will not underwrite a policy in my area. So far I have quotes from All State and Liberty mutual.

I always used state Farm when I had renter's insurance.

This is what I had too. Geico has also been advertising a lot of renter insurance commercials.

Re: Renter's Insurance
we have Geico because we have our car insurance through them as well, so it gave us a discount

Re: Renter's Insurance
We have AllState, even with the discount they still came in cheaper than Geico.

Re: Renter's Insurance
I use Allstate for everything. Used to have Geico, but Allstate was considerably cheaper.

Re: Renter's Insurance
Geico doesn't actually write renters, it's either through Travellers or another company.
I've used both Allstate and State Farm in the past and have had no problems.

Re: Renter's Insurance
We use State Farm. They gave us a "bundle" discount for car and renters.

Re: Renter's Insurance
contact a broker too - they work with multiple companies and can usually get a better price for the same amount of coverage. I know a great one in Wantagh, FM if you would like a recommendation !

Re: Renter's Insurance
We used MetLife and got it through my company so it is payroll deducted. I love that the annual premium is broken into 24 payments and I don't need to write a separate check.
