Registry Question
Is anyone registering for a video monitor?
DH wants to have an eye on the baby at all times, but I think its just an excessive wast of money...
Any pros/cons?

I liked my video monitor. I didn't need it so much when he was a newborn but more so when he was at the 8 month mark. He would wake up in the middle of the night & cry. If we went in to his room to check on him and he heard/saw us, he would not go back to sleep in his crib. With the monitor we could just check that his arm wasn't caught in the slats or anything & go back to sleep.
I plan to use it when they have their friends down the basement in 10 years.

I registered for one because I'm neurotic. I check if my dog is breathing LOL Someone on the parenting board just posted that she saw her son almost clib out and fall from his crib. She praised her monitor.......

WOW! I never thought about that! YIKES! I will be getting a video monitor!
