Besides stroller, car seat...What are your top three must haves on your registry? Or, top must haves if you already have kids of things you'd recommend people add onto registry?

Thanks! Chat Icon

Rock & Play sleeper
Cool mist vaporizer
Snap & Go (for quick trips out, so much easier than lugging the entire travel system)

Re: Registry Must-Haves

not registering since this is #2 but things I made sure I have for this baby:

rock n play

My brest friend (IMO better than boppy for feeding - even if bottle feeding - especially if you have c-sect)

Hugga-Bebe - for when there a few months old - loved this - used it for exersaucer, high chairs etc.

Re: Registry Must-Haves

only on my 1st but the Pack n Play, Rock and Play, Boppy pillow, and play mats (for tummy time and to stimulate) were a must have for me to register for.

My SIL made me register for a small umbrella stroller as well so I don't have to lug around the big boy all the time. Just an idea Chat Icon

Re: Registry Must-Haves

These are the things we used right away

Infant car seat with snap and go
(I like the snap and go since my "real" stroller is super heavy)

Rock n play (dd slept in this for the first 7 weeks and after I had it in my bathroom so I could shower)

Swing (have both the snugabunny and mamaroo)

Playmat (have snugabunny,,.super soft) for tummy time

Bouncer

Monitor (we have the Motorola with two cameras for when we have a 2nd)

Infant carrier (ergo, bjorn, etc)
Boppy (for nursing and tummy time)

Infant tub (one with a sling when they are super tiny)

Halo swaddle sacks

Marpac dohm white noise machine (the best...get it on amazon)

Changing pad, diapers, creams, lotions, shampoo/wash, brush, nail clippers, bottles, pump, hands free bra for pumping, gripe water, gas drops

Almost everything else you won't use for awhile but they are big ticket items so you will want them as gifts. Lol

Exersaucer/jumperoo (they are different, we have both)
Full size stroller (if you are thinking about a second child get one that you can add a seat onto)
Umbrella stroller (get one that reclines)
High chair
Convertible car seat (you may want two since you can't switch it from base to base like the infant one)

Re: Registry Must-Haves

DD is 8 weeks old and the things that have saved my life so far are:

Swing
Swaddling blankets
Noise machine
Nursing pads
Nursing bras
Lanisoh cream
Breast milk storage bags
Extra pump sets for pumping
Infant tub
Extra changing pad covers
TONS of diapers and wipes
Gas drops
Motorola monitor
Baby nail files

Obviously car seat and stroller. I also have an Ergo carrier but I have yet to use it.

Rock and play
Bouncer (with good head support)
Halo sleep sacks
Side snap shirts with attached hand covers (mittens never stayed on so these were amazing)
Gas drops
Activity mat
Tiny Love Mobile (loves that it plays for 40 minutes)
Pack and play
***Lots and lots of absorbent burp cloths***

I'm in the minority. I never found the Boppy to be useful. I also found blankets to be a waste.

I would like to add changing pad liners since my son projectile pooped on two of them last night. I don't think daddy is allowed to change poopy diapers anymore, he's too slow and more comes out!

Re: Registry Must-Haves

My top 3 are:
swing
Miracle Blanket - BEST for swaddling
Wubbanub External Image
These make it really easy to keep the binky in when the baby is not strong enough to keep it in yet. You won't have to constantly "hold" it in for them. And svcking is self-soothing for them. You can also get them at BBB and Motherhood, plus other specialty stores. BRU also has a couple.
More Wubbanubs

(If you don't have a swing in the room where the baby will be during the day, I'd say a Rock n Play).
