registering in 2 places

I registered at BRU last week and started a registry at Target last night. Should register for the big stuff (car seats, pack-n-play, etc..) in two places or is that not wise. I figured some people may have a Target closer or may have coupons or deals that BRU doesn't and vice versa. Any advice?

Target has a very bad return policy so I would not register for big things twice, especially not there. Chat Icon

I registered for most of the big stuff at BRU. I added Target for convienace for some people. The only big items I reg. for at Target were 2 carseats (for when the baby outgrows the infant one). Target was mostly things like sheets, a toybox, bumbo seat, playmat, boppy cover.

Re: registering in 2 places

i started my registry at BRU for most of the baby's stuff (prices are best there) and i have two tiny registries at target and BBB because they had things i could not get anywhere else.

i don't think it's unreasonable to register at two places - babies need a lot of stuff!!

Re: registering in 2 places

I registered for some duplicate things at each, and I just watched my registry so that when something was bought at one place, I took it off at the other. Maybe thats cheating but I know that sometimes BRU isn't as convenient for some people aas Target.

Re: registering in 2 places

I just registered at one place, but my friend who had her baby recently registered at BRU and Destination Baby. All of the big items were at Destination Baby, everything else at BRU. It seemed to work out very well.
