Registering--if there is a small chance you will have another child....
do you pick gender neutral items? I guess it depends on the item but which items matter? You probably could use the same stroller, right? Or do they get destroyed anyway? I know that I can't re-use anything too old and that I will probably only have one child. However, for some items I may suck it up and register for or buy some pricier lines, so won't I want the option of using them again even if I have the opposite sex next time?

Our stroller, car seat, jumperoo, pack and play- basically all of the "big items" are gender neutral since we plan on having another child.
All of the other items that we registered for- swaddle me's, bibs, etc- are more girly!

yes I got gender neutral items like the stroller and pack and play honestly, cause I liked them better than any pink stuff....also good in case we have a boy next time

Same here. I went for better companies with good ratings so they would last through one child and could be passed on to the next.

Bedding
Wall art
blankets
clothing
are all for baby boy.

for the most part we tried to yes...
We figured we would really only need if we had a girl next , a new stroller and obviously carseat since they are upgraded so often....

Even the clothes that I buy now for my son are usually gender neutral. I go with a lot of whites. He gets tons of boy clothes as gifts.

I did all the big things gender neutral knowing that baby gear doesn't get that beat up within 2 years of use and def plan on using all of it with #2.
But, I will have #2  when DD is 14 months old and all her stuff like PNP, bouncy seats, strollers, jumperoo, exersaucer, infant seat, are still very new.
The only thing i may replace is the wheels on my graco stroller, still undecided about what to do about a high chair and double stroller.
ETA: I am def getting new bedding for my new baby girl. Gianna still uses hers.
