Refusing solids when teething?
DS is teething like crazy. Drooling, shoving everything in his mouth, runny nose, etc. Now, he doesn't want his cereal or fruits/veggies when usually he is an eating machine. Did anyone find that this was the case when their DC was teething? He's making up for it in formula, but I'm nervous because the doc said he's supposed to start decreasing his formula amount and increasing his solids. He's going the other way. Just wondering if this is to be expected or if I should be 'pushing' the solids more.

DS did this too.
We found out he liked his fruits and veggies cold as a tooth emerged. So we started putting his Gerber foods in the fridge. Maybe this is an option for you.
But I wouldn't worry about the excess of Formula during a painful time.

You are so right, I bet he would like the food cold because of the teething. Today was actually better, he ate a little cereal, some applesauce and later some green beans. Not nearly as much as usual though.
