Recommendations- East Coast vs. NSLIJ vs. LI-IVF
Hello everyone!
I think we're finally at the point (over a year now ttc) that we're going to make an apt at RE... Can you give me some feedback regarding:
NSLIJ- Manhassett
Long Island IVF- Melville
East Coast Fertility- Plainview
??
The most convienent would probably be LI-IVF in Melville or East Coast in Plainview, but I have heard good things about NSLIJ.....
Anyone had good experiences at any of these places- or not so good experiences?

I go to li-ivf in lake success but have some of my appts in melville. The people there are really good. I have DR K and he is great. He listens to what you have to say and uses that for his recommendations.

I was under the care of Dr. Zapantis at ECF-Plainview. I thought he was great. The ofice is very friendly, always there to answer your call and they have great hours for monitoring. I would go in at 6:30 and still make it to work on time in NYC. And they are open on weekends! I had a medicated IUI last August and am 10 days away from delivering  FM if you have any questions.

i went to dr. hershlag at NSLIJ and i LOVED him. the staff there is fantastic - so on top of things. i am now 10 weeks pregnant with twins!

I haven't met with him yet but I have my fist appointment with Dr. Zapantis on May 3rd. He helped my SIL get pregnant 3 years ago and she loved him.

same here... excellent staff, dr. k is very understanding and listens...
their hours are very convenient for early monitoring as well (6:30-8:30), especially if you have to be at work early.

I agree they all sound positive I just did some research as well as I am switching from LIVF. I can't say they were terrible it was just a personal choice of wanting a new plan and a fresh pair of eyes. I researched cornell, RMA and NSLIJ. Unfortunately NSLIJ did not cover all the costs with my insurance but they got great reviews!! RMA and Cornell seemed bot of equal quality and positive feedback, In the end I went with the Dr I felt most comfortable with!

I went to Dr Kuokkanen at LI IVF (Melville location). I had a very good experience with the office/staff there. Hardly ever a wait, you can call a voicemail service every night to get your test results and a nurse will always call you right back if you have any questions...

I use RSONY and the drs are fabulous. Stelling is my main doc but they are all great. I use the west islip office for bloodtests and sonos. but all procedures are done in Mineola. I highly reccommend them!

Which doctor did you use?
I started with Rosenfeld... the Dr Scholl took over for IVF. Dr Chu did my IVF procedure and Dr Hershlag did my followups...so I pretty much saw them all
