Recommend your Pack and Play ...
Do these things last past 3 months?
Looking for one with a changing table. DS is almost 3 months but he's the size of a 6 month old (length and weight).
I saw some of the cheaper ones at BRU, the bed padding was so flimsy. Can it really be comfortable for a baby?

Hindsight is 20/20...aside from the fact that DS slept in the pack and play for the first two weeks after he came home from the hospital (his furniture wasnt ready yet) he barely used it after that (let alone the changing table part that is now taking up room in his closet If I had to do it over (which I might since at 7 1/2 months I need something to contain him in) I would get a very inexpensive bare bones one.
Case in point, we went to a memorial day party last weekend and my friend's mom picked up a playpen at the salvation army for $5. It looked like it was from the 70s but I stuck DS in there and he could care less. The bottom was vinyl padded but still hard and it made no difference to him.

we used ours a TON... it gave Em a place to sleep (that had an incline BUILT IN)....and gave me peace of mind knowing she was safe and enclosed.
we never used the changing table part of it (we had a changing table in her room).
now that she's one  , we use it for her sleeping at night, before we get into bed (we co-sleep) or...use it for a quick fix, if i need to do something and need to know that she's in a 100% safe environment.
our sitter has 2 kids and now watches Em. She kept hers all that time (her oldest is 6) and now Emma naps in it at her house!
sorry - we have the boppy happy place playard....the bassinet part has a built in incline in case of reflux.

I'm pretty sure the changing tables only go up to like 15lbs or so.
And yes, they do last more than 3 months. Especially if you travel (which we do)

I believe the Bassinet is for 15 lbs max and the changing table 25 lbs.
My mom lets my DD play in the pack and play and she loves it. I need to get one now that DD is rolliing all over the place and going to start crawling. She is 5.5 months.

Yes - we use ours frequently.
We bought an extra mattress to make it more comfy for DS to sleep in.
ETA - We have the Chicco Lullaby. The changing table goes up to 25lbs (and the bassinet goes up to 15lbs).

Our Graco PNP is well used. DS is 7 months old and he sleeps in his at my Moms. The changing table goes up to 25 pounds. We used ours up until late April when I had to take it down and pack it away when we went out of town. Now I keep it in the car for when I go out. We used it last weekend at the beach.

DS is 2.5 months and has been sleeping in his PNP in our room every night since he's been home from the hospital. We went against the advice of all the BTDT moms who said to get the most basic one and we got the Graco Townsend that has a canopy, changing table, and vibrating mechanism thingy and cost $170. Needless to say, the changing table and vibrating part is sitting gathering dust in our closet.
I would definitely stick with a Graco (they were the highest rated in Baby Bargains) but save your money and get a basic model. The changing table attachment looked way too flimsy to use IMO.

And what kind of features should I look for in general. DS will be well over 15lbs and 26" long when we use it. Thanks!

I agree. DS hated the PNP. He slept in there a handful of times. It definitely lasts past 3 months, but how often it's used will depend on your DC.

We first bought the matching Chicco set:
which is great and we love. It had the changing table which DS would nap on when he was a few days old. I tossed the changing part a few weeks ago b/c we never used it after that.
This one was in our living room and DS plays in it a lot.
We just bought a 2nd PNP:
(this a graco PIPPIN pack n play)
because for the summer DS will sleep in our room with the AC. Im not paying to run 2 a/cs and then i cant really hear DS with the air on. So this one is now in our living room, the chicco in our bedroom.
and for $69.99 (we used a 20% BRU coupon) its pretty freaking good. The mobile is chinsy so i tossed it, but overall, serves its purpose and the mattress is just as good as the chicco one.
