Recommend your NON SLR camera...
I broke mine today, well, Bella did at Laurie B...so I'm looking for another one.
I have an older model of the Canon Power Shot and did love it...but wondering what else is out there.
My D40 just doesn't fit in my pocket!

I got the Canon SD950IS for Christmas and absolutely love it. It's a 12 megapixel camera which is a bit excessive but we figured we could use it for awhile. It takes amazing pictures, has great features and takes great videos with sound as well!

It is an Olympus 710, its TINY and takes (I think) good point and shoot pics. I think they are $199-$250ish now
