Recommend your Gas Grill

We are in need of a new Grill. I know Weber is the best but I was wondering if there are other brands just as good but not as expensive.

Re: Recommend your Gas Grill

We just ordered a weber from lowes, it was $949, we used a veteran's discount and got it for 18 months no interest financing.

I was in HD yesterday and saw Brinkman. I don't know about the brand (I have an older Weber) but they were reasonably priced. Maybe check out reviews online.

It was out of my price range too...that's why I did the 18 months!Chat Icon

They did have other grills at lowes though, in the $200-$400 range that were nice.Chat Icon

Re: Recommend your Gas Grill

I got a weber and it was out of my budget. I was able to use points with amex. Made it a whole lot more affordable.

I also have thank you points from Citibank that I could have used. Just a suggestion.

I ended up paying nothing out of pocket for it.

Re: Recommend your Gas Grill

We have a Weber and while it might seem expensive, it lasts so much longer than the cheaper ones as we had 2 of them thinking we could just save money.

My parents had their Weber 20 years before they got a new one.

We have a Brinkmann's. IT was my parents and when they moved they gave it to us. IT has been at least since 2004. We finally replaced the burners ($60) but other than that it has held up great. I'm sure it wasn't cheap but I think they have a bunch of different levels.

We have one of the smaller Weber grills- I think it is the Spirit series. We bought it at PC Richards on sale and it was not too $$. We had another brand previously and within three years the burners rotted out.
