Recommend your baby monitor

In the past four years I've been through three baby monitors, all horrible. Now I have a newborn and looking to purchase one. Which one do you have and like?

We have the Summer Infant Baby Touch and love every single thing about it! Pan and zoom features, intercom, decent battery life, clear picture, ability for up to 4 cameras. We've been using it every day for almost 2 years now and haven't had a single issue.

Does the summer infant have voice activation? Do sounds like an air conditioner trigger the monitor to go on?

To my knowledge, there is no sound activation feature. We keep the sound on when we use it.

Love this monitor. We had the Summer Infant and it crapped out on us after 4 months. The Motorola has a better picture quality and battery life.

I second the Baby Touch. We have the motorola one at my parents house and compared to the Baby Touch it's awful - beeps all the time saying it's out of range (and it's not a large house at all), you can't turn the volume off, the picture is fuzzy.

Love the baby touch!
