recall tips
so my SIL gave me an extra snugride base to put in my moms car and b/c my nephews were born in 2003, i decided to go on graco.com and see if it was recalled, good thing i did b/c it was. Just a tip to ALWAYS check if you are recieving used stuff from somebody. She had offered me the matching snugride for it but i said no to that b/c i didnt want a used travel/carseat (i put a whole new system on my registry). I figured the extra base should be OK though, but i was wrong.

My ds was born in 2003 also. If her snugride seat and base came with a travel sysytem it is fine. If she bought i seperately it falls under the recall. I flipped ou when the recall happened because I was just about to have my dd in it. We were safe since we bought it as a travel system.
