we have a fence around the yard and another around the pool!

This baby was my next door neighbor
He was a beautiful child and this is completely heartbreaking.
He was not her second son to drown. The mother's brother had drowned in his own backyard pool many years ago at the age of 19. Now, the mother's child drowned in the neighbor's pool at the age of 3.
This little boy was continually seen running around unattended. I also heard that the police were called on several occasions by neighbors finding him on their properties.
Al I have to say is that a child is a precious gift, and it sickens me to see some of the people that God blesses with these gifts, because they certainly do not know how to care for them.
Pray for that beautiful little guy, may he rest in peace.

I totally and completely agree with you! How do you do that to a child? Leave him unattended like that? So many people want kids and can't have them and then you have those that have them and mistreat them. It's just so sad.

That is very sad.. I was on a drowning call for a little boy when I was a volunteer EMT. It was the worst call I ever went on, almost made me want to quit.

That's horrible!!
It is such a responsibility to even have a pool, and now this happens to these people and this baby?
That's why my parents threw me in the pool and made me learn to swim when I was just a baby......

i can't swim and that is my biggest fear. That's why both my kids get swimming lessons!! And, THEY ARE NEVER IN THE POOL UNDATTENDED!!!!!!!!!!

i posted about this eariler it is VERY VERY UPSETTING. i drove past and dropped off a teddy bear and a cross candle holder (with a white candle in it) and ran into one our girls and was a neighbor to the family who lost this little boy. yes this a very hard thing to handle and yes it is easy to want to blame the parents and we DO NOT KNOW THE WHOLE STORY. try to look at this way they are hurting MORE THEN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE right now and I am SURE the mother blames her self 100%. But gOd wanted the angel home with him and instead of trying to blame them lets ofter our hopes and prayers for the family.
ps. sadly enough i learned that things happen and as i was blamed for what happen to my dh . and that hurts more then life itself

That's so sad.
We have a pool in our backyard. Our house is completely fenced and we abide by all town regulations regarding owning a pool but this is what fears me the most. DH and I have discussed a few times taking down the pool because of the liability.
