does anyone know if mortage rates went up yesterday? or know where I can look to find out?

DH(mortgage broker)says rates are low right now just got someone 5.6 on a 30 yr fixed

you can look at the 10 year note as reference...if it goes up, rates go up and vice versa (though it needs to go up more than a teeny little bit to change anything)

The anticipation of a slowing economy in '07 and the fed's inevitable easing of the fed funds rate within the next few months will drive the 10 year note to the 4% range. The 10 year note is currently at 4.5%. Being that the 10 year note and the 30 year rates move in unison, you can expect even lower 30 year rates this summer and through the end of ‘07.

The rates a very good now, but they may be better by mid summer, with very little chance that they will spike up any time soon.
