Rash around mouth
DD has had a rash around her mouth for a few weeks now. It's like little red bumps and seems to get worse after she eats. She always rubbed her face in the past but now that she eats table food the rash developed. I even took her pacifier away thinking it was that. She's 14 months. She doesn't drool excessively or anything. Is this a common thing? I've seen that you can use Aquafor but I'm afraid she'll rub it into her eyes or get it in her mouth. Any suggestions?

In use aquaphor around DS's mouth all the time. Just a very thin coating. He gets that from having his hands in his mouth and the spit gets all over. He doesn't drool, it's just from the spit on his hands rubbing against his mouth. I would definitely try the aquaphor and see if it helps.

I was thinking that but she eats the same stuff every day pretty much. It would be very difficult to figure that out unless she gets allergy tested.

Rash around mouth
Does she eat a lot of acidic stuff, like tomatoes? My son gets a bit of a rash around his mouth when he eat tomato sauce. It's like a skin irritation.

Yeah she did have tomato sauce more recently. Not the past couple of nights, but I guess that's possible. I'll try the Aquafor I guess and see how that goes. So I don't need to worry about her getting it in her mouth if she rubs her face? Should I give her a binky after I apply it to prevent her rubbing?
