I would love to knit a pretty hat for DD but I can't seem to get passed scarves and some simple hats. I am not skilled with decreases and increases. A former coworker of mine does AMAZING work but she moved back to the Pacific Northwest so I don't have a buddy to motivate me.
Oh yeah, I would send you the pretty yarn in my stash that has been sitting there for years,if you would knit something with it.

i was googling some ideas and reading knit blogs when i thought "out loud" on this thread
how silly of me for not realizing that i have an EXTENDED "FAMILY" on LIF that i can knit baby hats for... silly silly me!
i'm finishing a pair of socks, right now.
if anyone wants a baby hat BOYS OR GIRLS. i'd be happy to make them.

I have a little girl who would love a hat like that.. but her mommy isnt good at crocheting.. she can only do single and double stitching and when she tries to read the crotching and knitting directions gets all confused...
Im the mommy.. wanta make one for my dd....
