Re: Raffle Basket ideas
I made a BBQ raffle basket once for an event where you could buy raffles for specific baskets. I bought a Weber Smoky Joe grill, a small bag of charcoal, a small bag of hardwood chips, some grill gloves, some grill utensils, some cool bbq sauces and rubs from Home Goods, and a BBQ cookbook. I put the grill together, I used wire ties to get the lid to stay in the open position (so it looked like a clam shell) and then arranged everything in there. It was a hit and made a lot of money, since there were so few baskets that the dads would have been interested in buying a raffle for
But I found this on the internet just now:

Re: Raffle Basket ideas
When we do baskets for the school auction, we don't like to include items (we consider that is more difficult to sell, since items are more personalized; and living in small apartments in the city, we believe people don't have room for more things) but we include experiences, regarding with the theme.
For example:
Sports basket: Passes for soul cycle, passes for trapeze lessons, sport store gc, tickets for a sport event.
Parent's night out basket: Spa gc, restaurant gc, urban sitter gc
Family outings basket: Theater passes, shake shack gc, water taxi passes, dave and busters gc
Sometimes we include one item, like when we did an opera basket, it included tickets for the opera, and a bottle of champagne.
