Making a raffle basket - what to put in it?
I'm making a gift basket that will be raffled off for a fundraiser. So far I have a facial and a cleanser from a dermatologist. I also have $80 to spend.
What would you buy for the $80 to put into the basket? I'm thinking I should keep it along the 'spa' lines? Maybe not though...open to anything. Oh, and I'd rather not put another gift certificate in it. I'd rather buy some items to put in it.

This looks like a nice robe...
Slippers might be tough because you don't know if this is for a man or woman or what size shoe. I'd stick with a large robe.

Check TJ Max and Marshalls for good deals on high quality spa items. I've seen robes and slippers there too. It's a good way to stretch your money.
Raffle baskets should have a theme, and spa is a nice one.
Look for pretty packaging as well as different items as people seeing it will be tempted to buy a ticket if it looks intriguing.

With a facial and cleanser already from the dermatologist-- I would stick to a spa/health/caring for yourself type basket.
I agree with magazines (any healthy eating type magazine, or fitness magazine, etc.), candles, soaps, lotions, lip balms, eye mask, loofah. Those were all good suggestions.

Check out Homegoods too! DH and I put similar baskets together for our mothers for the holidays.
We included in each, all from HG, a Calvin Klein throw, Yankee Candle, different treats - Belgian stroopwaffels and organic peppermint patties. My mom got a manicure GC; DH's mom got a bottle of wine I know she likes (and is hard to find). They both loved it! The overarching theme was "pampering" themselves.

I got a few "spa" gift sets for my birthday last year. One had bath salts, foot scrub, slippers, foot cream, etc. you could get a gift set from Marshall's or tj maxx and redistribute, but I think a lot of them have a throwaway item or 2 (which I also find with raffle baskets). I'd do bath salts (LOVE THESE), a nice face cream, an eye mask, makeup remover, and maybe some pedicure type things!

I just went to a fundraiser last night and it had a similar basket. They had facial cleaner, lotion, hair mask, eye mask, chap stick, bath salts and those hand and feet lotion type gloves and socks.
