Racing Heart?
I am 21+4 today and all day on and off I feel like my heart is racing. I'm a nurse so naturally I've taken my pulse throughout the workday and now at home about 47374738 times and it seems to be running anywhere from 88-105bpm. Has anyone else felt like their heart is beating out of their chest?? I'm doing my best to stay hydrated but I don't want to hurt my babe! ,

Re: Racing Heart?
Yep I had that a lot while pregnant. Dr said it was normal and due to increased blood volume due to the baby.

Racing Heart?
Yup! I went to the ER bc I had a racing heart and felt like I was going to faint. Drs gave me 2 full bags of IV fluids and said too much water can actually deplete you with the nutrients, and to drink Gatorade or stuff with electrolytes in it also

Re: Racing Heart?
Yes I had that with my first pregnancy. I was always short of breathe too and I workout regularly.

I have it too... twins, so I have the short of breath and racing pulse. Doc said: Welcome to pregnancy. I am just hanging on these last 6 weeks.

Re: Racing Heart?
Yup! Not as bad this pregnancy as my last one. My last pregnancy I got it a lot. I got it so much I went to a cardiologist. They didn't find anything on then I have a small leaky valve they say is no big deal. Just that your blood flow increases during pregnancy. I was working full time overnights and not drinking enough probably.
I hate that feeling. You feel like you can't breathe for a second. I was taking my pulse constantly too.
