quick question...should I test yet?
If you happened to O later in your cycle, does that mean that Af will also be late or should she still show up on time?

I am not sure. This is my first month temping and using OPK's. I never got a positive but I stopped testing around cd18. I temped this month and FF gave me an O date on CD22. I actually went for my first RE appt. on CD24 and had a ton of blood done and she said that based on my Progesterone I just O'd a few days before (which would then make FF correct with CD22). I may always O on CD22 but this is the first month I actually charted anything so this is my first month actually know so to finally answer your question...I don't know how long my LP actually is!!!
I do know that I am cd30 today and I usually get AF around cd28/30 and according to MMC I am due today.

If you ovulated late in your cycle, and you have a normal length LP it will not shorten it.
So, if you have a 14 day LP, then you will still get your period 14 days after ovulate.

If you think you always O on CD22 and you get your period on CD28/30, then normally you have a VERY short LP and should have your progesterone checked. If your LP is only 6-8 days long, getting pregnant and/or staying pregnant will be difficult for you. Implantation generally occurs between 7-12dpo, and progesterone is the hormone that helps to sustain a pregnancy until the placenta begins to take over around the 10 week mark.

I wouldn't test yet.
You really don't know when you've been ovulating the past few months.
I would wait until at least 14 days after you ovulated (14 days after CD 22 this month).

I know when I spoke to the dr. my progesterone was over 5, which was on cd24 when they said I o'd just a few days before. Maybe I will test tomorrow or probably just wait it out to avoid the depression/

What did the RE have to say about that?
When I spoke to them on cd25 after comfirming that I did O, they said I should probably expect to get af in about 7-10 days, which was about 6 days ago so I guess I am just going to have a very abnormally long cycle this month.

Yes.. If say, you have a normal 14 day LP, then no mater what day you ovulate, your period will still come 14 days later. O'ing late won't shorten the length of time between your then and your period.

OK, I think I got it. I just can't believe that I may not get AF until CD36, that never happens to me, but I will wait it out for this week. Thank you all so much!
