quick grammar q
is it right to say "john's and my birthdays are a week apart"?
it just sounds... wrong.
It's for an email for a bday party. Would it be better to say "John's birthday is a week after mine"?
TIA

Re: quick grammar q
I think it would be singular birthday- not sure
I'd prob go with your second suggestion or something like Our birthdays are a week apart Or Johns birthday and my birthday are a week apart
