Need quick grammar help!!!!
Sorry to post this here but this is where I usually post and I need quick help.....Did I use library correctly in this sentence:
I will be involved in transferring the school library's card catalogue onto the computer so that books can be easily scanned when taken out and returned.
Libraries....like this would mean more than one library right?

Hmm... lol, maybe I've been out of school too long, but I think it should be
"the school's library card catalog" but now I'm not sure after I read it again.
Anyway, you used library correctly - no IES, just 's for ownership!

I think it sounds funny without any possessives...and I think you were right the first time.

Library's in the context that you used it in means that it is a (one noun) and it would be one library.
Libraries would be more than one.
I hope that makes sense.

It's the library card catalogue that belongs to the school. You need the possessive. "School's library card catalogue".
