Questions for doctor

I have my 1st appt. this Friday and am curious if I should be asking anything specific? I mean I have a list of things that have popped in my head but can you girls help me out?

Also it is a new dr. I am seeing, I ditched my old one bc I wasnt fond of him.

a few things I wanted to know was :

- what hospitals do they deliver at?
- what doctor may be on call when you are in labor?
- do they do sonos in office or send you out?

I dont remember asking questions at my 1st appointment - my doctor just thew a lot of info at me.

good things to know though are -

your doctors thoughts on foods you cannot eat

their opinion/approval to exercise

what the schedule for future appointments will be like

I'd ask about call schedule and rotating doctors in practice.

I started with this one obgyn who CONSTANTLY canceled my appointments because she had to deliver. I also had to wait at least an hour everytime. It drove me absolutely nuts. Once DH went out of his way and drove over an hour to get to the appointment to learn that our appointment was canceled. That was the final straw.

Yes thanks girls I have confirmed a bunch of these already. They have 3 doctors in their office and I will be seeing all of them at some point. They do bloodwork and sonos in the office.

Good note about future appt. schedule, I need to find that out!
