Dutch Wonderland question

I've checked the website and searched on here but I'm still not sure if it's worth it to take DS to DW! He'll be 19 months when we're thinking of going. He's a bit of a daredevil so I think he'll like some of the rides but will he be able to go on them? For the water slides can I put him on my lap and go down with him? I know he would like them but I know he'd be scared if he went down by himself.

Tips? Advice? Suggestions? TIA!

I t hink he is fine for the water park for sure....he can run and play on just about everything, excluding some of the slides maybe.

As for the park...there are defiinitely parts that cater to younger children and it's overall a fun day Chat Icon

Re: Dutch Wonderland question

i found out that you can go for a 45 minute 'tour' through the park to see if it's appropriate for FREE!!!!

Re: Dutch Wonderland question

I brought my son last year and he was maybe a month older and we had a GREAT time....there were lots of little rides for him to go on, a pony ride, slide, and the water park, we even went on the flume ride and I think we were ok on the first drop but the seond one was bit of drop for my little man, I think I was scared more than him, he laughed the whole time, we have picture that is priceless!!! ...I only rmember one area being for the smaller kids in the water park but he had fun and it was not too crowded when we went. We didn't even make it to one side of the park as he was worn out by about 2:00 and we got there when the park opened. There are also shows there (which we did not attend) PLENTY for kids to do at that age. It was a great time, very clean, well kept, and I love the way they have the water park separate from the other rides. We are planning a trip back this year instead of trying Sesame Place because we loved it so much!
