Question...bfp after MC before AF...UPDATE 2

Has anyone else had this happen to them?
I had a MC back at the end of april/beginning of May and hadn't had AF since then. I took a test about 2 weeks ago just to see if anything would still register and it was a def negative. The yesterday found another test in the closet and said ah screw why not...it was very much a BFP, the test line came up before the control line even had pee on it!
DH and I only  one time in may around the middle of the month!
Went to the doc today and they did a sono...saw a sac but nothing else so far. They aren't sure how far a long i would be right now so they say that's not necessarily a bad thing yet. Went for beta this morning (still waiting for the #) and have to go back again on Thursday.
Any similar situations with you ladies?
UPDATE - Just got my first beta# from the doc...3,005  Now the oh so fun waiting game until Thursday 
UPDATE 2 - Got my 2nd Beta# today it's 6321 so a little over doubled! Doc said that was great and I go back on Monday for a repeat sono...fingers crossed!!!

This is exactly what happened to me. I had a m/c in December, no Af, tested again in January, and got a BFP. I am now 26 weeks. HTH

Congratulations!!!
That happened to my mom. She had a m/c at 12 w and then conceived me before she ever got her period again. Apparently you're extremely fertile sometimes at that time and many doctors tell you to wait two months just so they can date you (don't know if that's true or not -- I'm not a doctor). But that # is great! Good luck with everything!

It happened to me too. I had a MC in jan then got a bfp in feb. I am now 19 weeks!!!
