question regarding pee pee clothes and blankets/sheets

Do you soak them prior to washing or do you just wash right away? DH thinks I should be soaking them but if I'm washing right away I think that's not necessary. What do you do?

Re: question regarding peepy clothes and blankets/sheets

I have two children but I have to ask, because don't know: What's a peepy cloth? Is it something you put on a baby boy's peepee in order to avoid a pee shower?Chat Icon

And no, I don't think soaking anything is necessary.

I did a double take too, because I spell it peepee, but no, I don't bother soaking anything prior to putting it in the washer. I do put all of DS's clothes on a soak cycle before the hottest water wash, so I feel like everything is soaked, disinfected, and clean.

When they have an accident at night and the sheets and stuff have to get washed, the only stuff going in that load is what ever got wet. So his pj's and sheets. The next load was the quilt and stuff animals.

I generally wash that stuff separately but I don't soak anything! I also wash everything with Oxy Clean so hopefully that gets all the stink out of their clothes Chat Icon
