Is it too early to wash clothes/ blankets?
My countdown is 52 days... Should I do it closer to my due date or is it ok to start washing things now?
ETA: I didnt know if they should be freshly washed or not for the baby

I washed and put everything away right after my shower. I figured it was one less thing to do!
I only washed newborn and 0-3 month clothes though and left the tags on all the other stuff in case I wanted to return later on.

I hope not. I just washed all the newborn and 0-3 month clothes all weekend. And I have 70 days left,
I wanted one less thing to worry about the last few weeks. I just cleaned out the drawers very well with soap and water. TThen put new bags over the clothes in the closet so they won't get dusty or anything.

I think that's a bit early, but baby can come at any time so it's good to be preared. I just started doing my laundry and I'm 38 weeks, don't be like me.

I'm due the day before you with DD#2 and i think i'm going to take the baby clothes out of storage and start washing them this week. (Despite the fact that DD#1 was almost 2 weeks late, so i may have even more time than i think lol)
Eventhough it's early, honestly, anything you can get done and checked off the list makes things that much easier (plus, by the time i was 38-39 weeks with DD#1, i certainly didn't have the endurance that i had in the weeks before)- so take advantage of any energy you have at this time!

i'd probably just wash the gender neutral newborn stuff for now, but that's JMO!
