Anyone here hypoglycemic during pregnancy? I got my glucose tolerance results back, and apparently instead of being high like i thought (since i had GD with my DS) I was the LOWEST blood sugar theyd ever seen lol, figures... anyone experience this during pregnancy? what do i do differently now? I havent spoken to the dr yet, just the nurse

I had reactive hypoglycemia during pregnancy. When I ate carbs or something sugary, my blood sugar would drop shortly thereafter and I would get very dizzy, my heart would beat really fast and feel very faint. I tried to eat more protein and less carbs/sugar which helped a little. I remember OJ in the morning being the worst. It started around 20 weeks and lasted until I gave birth. I had it with both pregnancies. I'm not sure if it's the same as just regular hypoglycemia though since it wasn't something that came up on the standard blood sugar tests.

same here but I ahve hypoglycemia all the time, but Pg makes it worse.
I control mine with diet. It has only gotten dangeroulsy low( where I passed out) 2x I think in my life and there was a trigger.
