Question HELP!!!! (TMI)

Hi Ladies,
I sorry to invade on your space. I was wondering if you can answer a question for me.

Well 2 mths ago i was on and abx for strep throat and im on bcp and me and my fh had sex. I got AF last mth and my period is due on Thursday. But now im stressing becuase the abx can not be that affected if you are on the abx,
I have got like the week b/4 cramps/bloating/and bitchiness
Do you think there is a chance that i could be PG? I do have PCOS and I know that i will have a hard time trying to concieve but i was dagnosis with that when i was 60 pounds heavier and also im stress alot this mth due to work and worrying about this.

Hi, do you mean the BCP cannot be effective if on ABX (you said ABX can't be effective if on ABX). Anyway, I have always wondered what antibiotics do to BCP; my dr at the time I was on BCP reassured me that I would be fine and had still had a very slim chance of getting pg while on bcp even w/ antibiotics. Of course, now I'd do anything to be pg. Anyway, I think that while it's easier said than done, try not to stress over this b/c that could delay your period even more. Secondly, when did you have sex? While I know it's different on bcp, if it was less than 2 weeks ago, I might guess you'd be fine. Hopefully someone else can chime in as I'm not sure.
