Question from style-challenged mom -- Do you think this is a cute diaper bag?

I'm always ordering plain black bags because I am just unfashionable. I'm thinking about investing in a ju-ju-be backpack as baby #2 is on the way and am trying to decide whether or not to go with a print. I have one DD 2.5, and another DD coming in December... My winter coat is solid brown if that matters...

So, which should I get:

1) Tiki Toffee (Wild for me!)



2) Brown/Bubblegum (Safe, but boring?)

They are both nice but I'd probably go with #2.

I think the first one remins me of a beach bag pattern.....

I like them both actually, but I think the second would get more use. If it were the beginning of summer, I'd go for the first.

Have you used a backpack before? Do you like it?

The brand is "Ju-Ju-Be" (http://www.ju-ju-be.com/products.html) and the style is "BeRightBack". Its actually not in stores yet, but should be within the next week.

(If anyone has recommendations for other great diaper backpacks, let me know -- I want something big enough to handle all the stuff for two kids, bottle holders on the outside for easy access, no velcro, somewhere separate to put my wallet, phone.)

Ohh I love Ju Ju Be bags!! I voted for the 1st, I like funky though. I have a Pack a Be in Perky Perennials and a Be Small in Sassy Stripes. I love them both!! I was surprised to see someone at the Children's Museum today with a JJB since I never ever see anyone with them!

Are you ordering yours off the internet? I have yet to find a store nearby that carries them. I ordered from Little Dudes and Divas and got a free bib. They also have a coupon code floating around.

ETA: Okay, I am checking out the Be Right Back and I like that it's a little sleeker than the my Pack A Be and the pockets zip for the bottles, but I think if I were you I would get the Pack A Be if you want the backpack style. Only because the handle is better on the PAB. It converts to one long handle by pulling up on the 2 straps (and has padding), vs. just that little short attached thing on the BRB. I know that I don't always like to put the thing on my back when I'm carrying it to the car, so I just throw the long strap over my shoulder. PLUS it fits on the stroller with the long handle, the BRB wouldn't be able to without using the stroller clips. Plus it has not one, but two mommy pockets.

I'm currently obsessed with Ju Ju Be diaper bags. I just bought a Be Small in brown/blue, but I got a tiny one (Be Mine) in purple paisley.

I think the tiki toffee is nice.
