Question for those who ovulate on their own
Does the re do blood or sono before your iui to make sure you really are ovulating? I am so confused and feel like it is impossible to speak to my doc at rsony. I always get a positive on my test but part of me feels like I ovulate later.

Question for those who ovulate on their own
Do they take blood every time you go? I don't ovulate on my own but they always took blood and checked to see if I was ovulating just in case.

Re: Question for those who ovulate on their own
I ovulate on my own but when I got my iui done they did not take my blood the day of I was in 2 days before had a sono which showed a large follicle. The opks have never been wrong for me so they just used that. This was an iui with clomid only. I'm moving onto injectibles next month and there will be a lot more sonograms and blood tests because of the meds. Are you on clomid or injectibles?

I am on clomid. What is difference between that and injectables?

Clomid stimulates egg production but not as much as injectibles. With the injectibles there will be more eggs and they give you a trigger shot the day of your iui to make sure you ovulate that day. You have to be monitored more closely bc there is always a chance of overstimulation. I'm moving onto injectibles next week or the week after if af shows so I can let you know more than.

Re: Question for those who ovulate on their own
I do but when doing iui they always triggered me for timing so they never redid bloodwork to check. I always felt the same o pains as I did when I didn't trigger and was ttc naturally.
