Question for those who have had a child with stomach bug?
Did it take them a while to go back to eating normally?
DS had the stomach bug on Saturday and as of last night he still is giving me a hard time about not wanting to eat as much as he normally does (including his chicken for dinner)..not sure if his belly may still be a little un-easy or if he is just using it as an excuse not to eat!
I got the stomach bug a day after him, and i have to admit that i still don't have much of an appetite, so that's why i'm letting him get away with not eating that much.
Just wondering if this happened to anyone else?

Yes! DS had the stomach bug that was going around around Christmas time. He didn't eat normally for 2 weeks. He was vomiting on and off for a week though.

DD definitely lost her appetite while she had the virus, which lasted a good 5 days for her. We knew she was getting better when her appetite returned.

Question for those who have had a child with stomach bug?
It took a week (4 days of being sick) then 3 days until I fully saw my dd appetite return.

Question for those who have had a child with stomach bug?
Yes! DD had a stomach bug about 2 weeks ago and DH and I got it shortly after. It took a little over a week for DD to get her appetite back fully. Even now, she is sometimes hesitant to eat and will tell me "it will make my tummy hurt" because she's afraid of throwing up or going to the bathroom.

Yes, this is what my DS has been doing.i guess its somewhat normal then.
