Question for a friend traveling by air w/ her 14 month old DD

My friend is flying from NY to AZ (approx 5 hrs) and is pretty sure she will buy a seat for ther 14 month old DD, and have her sit in her car seat. I suggested getting the stroller frame for the carseat, so she doesn't have to 1-lug the stroller and 2- the baby can stay in the car seat.

Question is, do they make the stroller frame for a convertable car seat?? If so, what brand/cost and where to get it? And does it accomodate the Evenflo Triumph?

TIA!!

I don't know the answer to your question. But when I travel with my son, caarseat and stroller, I hang the car seat on the back of the stroller. Its not great but it works. Roll the stroller right up to the plane.

Good luck to your friend.

we bought a bag with wheels to put the convertible car seat in. It made it easy to wheel it through the airport.

I bought a back pack to carry the carseat when I went to FL 2 weeks ago and it was the best thing I could have done!!!!!!

We're traveling in a few months, and I'm planning on rigging up a strap-type gadget so I can convert the carseats to backpacks and/or buy the cover that does the same thing. We'll have myself and DW with 4 yo DS and 13 mo DD, so it should be interesting...

We're also going to UPS a lot of stuff to my brother's house, so we don't have to travel on the plane with a week's worth of clothes and stuff, just enough for a day or two.
