question about the ultimate crib sheet.

I just bought the ultimate crib sheet based on recommendations from moms on here and from the baby bargains book.

I just put it on the crib to try it out and it seems VERY annoying to put on! Is it just me?? all those snaps seem like a pain to deal with! Now, maybe it is b/c I am still preggo and my belly does not make it easy to reach down and snap them. Or maybe it is the fact that the back of the crib is against the wall and hard to reach. Having the breatheable bumpers on do not help the situation.


I just cannot imagine this being easier than changing the actual crib sheet. Is it really worth all the effort it takes to put it on and take it off?

you know, I'm interested to see the responses on this, because I thought it was a pain to put on, and now, since I have breathable bumpers on too, I can't even figure out how to get it on, cause the bumpers are in the way, it just seems like it would be easier to change the sheet!

I bought it, used it a few times and find the snaps very annoying! Also...the washing instructions say you have to snap all of them closed when washing/drying. I of course ignored this b/c it seemed like too much of a hassle and one of the snap cords ripped off.

Peronsally I find it to be more trouble than its worth. Do they make something that doesnt have snaps?

I LOVE the ultimate crib sheet! I know the snaps can be a bit annoying but changing the sheet is ten times harder! Plus I love that if the sheet gets spit up on or wet I can just whip it off and there is a clean sheet below it.

I'm glad to be reading these responses. I was thinking of getting the ultimate crib sheets for my daughter. I found another sheet that you get online, clouds & stars sheets, They're a sheet with a hidden zipper. If the sheet gets wet/dirty just unzip and replace, without having to take the entire sheet off the mattress.

I have been using the UCS for 2 years and I love it!! The snaps are so much better than changing the sheet esp if you use a bumper. I've never snapped them closed to wash it and I've only had one snap break in 2 years. I 100% reccomend it!

the UCS is a GODSEND!!!!

i have 2 on top of each other on both kids' beds and have never actually changed a sheet. if my kid spits up/has an accident/etc i just take one off and there's another ready to go! no changing sheets ever!

the snaps are fine. annoying until i got used to it but now it takes me about 45 seconds to do. it also depends on your model crib--DD's crib we had to take off and sew on 2 of the snaps in another spot because they didn't fit. now it's no problem!
