Question about temp drop 5DPO
I'm 5 DPO, according to Fertility Friend. I apparently O'd CD11 solely based on temps.
My temperature dropped way passed my coverline to the point I was when (according to FF) ovulating.
Does anyone know why'd it'd do that? I temp the same exact time every day. Nothing was different at all last night from any other night I've temped.
TIA!!!

Re: Question about temp drop 5DPO
sometimes your temp dips right around implantation. or it could have been a fluke.
if your temp rises way above coverline in the next few days you might be PG.

Re: Question about temp drop 5DPO
it has dropped before this drop and i thought something was wrong. my last chart was so clear, but this one is so up-and-down.
i'm also thinking that maybe i didn't O when FF suggested I did and that I'm Oing now. I felt stretchy cramplike feelings in my lower ab yesterday and real gassy the day before which usually happens when I O....
but here's a shot of this cycle.
could i be Oing today? Image Attachment(s):

Re: Question about temp drop 5DPO
are you only temping to figure out when you ovulate? (no opks, CBEFM, etc?)

Re: Question about temp drop 5DPO
yes, just temping & checking CM and C-position. the opk's don't work for me. and i have been to the OB to check & see if I am Oing and it was confirmed.

okay well i mean, based on your CM it doesn't look like that was your O date. how's your CM now? (awkward! )
i don't know anything about CP - but does it seem fertile now?

Re: Question about temp drop 5DPO
no, it doesn't. and CM today is sticky and lotiony. but that could be due to an antihistamine i took last night (doctor prescribed & approved).

Re: Question about temp drop 5DPO
I think you have to wait a few more days to see a trend. In my experience with temping, I could only really tell what happened in the past, KWIM? FF would change my O date etc.
I hope that it is a "good" sign for you (implantation)

Re: Question about temp drop 5DPO
Yes, it was very frustrating. For instance it would say I O'd on CD 14 (on CD17), then based on temps, CM, and OPK it would decide I O'd on CD 18 (on CD21). I doesn't change it until 3 days after it happened. I think charting is great and over the last 5 months I have definitely gotten a sense of my cycle and my RE said it helped her to look them over. I definitely think OPK's, CM, CP and how you are "feeling" are better ways to gauge upcoming O and FF can confirm it after the fact. KWIM?
