Question about Smiling?
I'm just wondering when all of your little ones start to really smile while they were awake in response to things?
Emily has only smiled once -- the other day when Daddy was home from work and he came and said goodmorning to him -- it hasn't happened since.
She smiles a lot in her sleep but not while awake. I feel like I'm going crazy oogling at her trying to make her happy but it's not working. Even when we are just cuddling and being relaxed I am getting no response.
She's had a lot of things like baby acne, diaper rash, thrush -- things that have made her uncomfortable. I wonder if she's just been so uncomfortable that it's keeping her from smiling.
She's 5 weeks old. I hope it happens soon!

Re: Question about Smiling?
What an adorable picture!
I just can't wait to see her smile and know that so many babies are doing it earlier then her ... and it worries me.

Re: Question about Smiling?
Well her first real smile was sometime before Haloween but now this past week she has been smiling at me more when I talk and make faces at her but I still wouldn't say she smiles a lot. She'll be 7 weeks on Monday.

Hayley is just starting and she is 8 weeks today. I worry because since she was 5 weeks early she will be behind in developing.
