Question about silk nail wraps
If you want permanent french, what do they do? They tell me it can be done but how? I do not want a tip put on. Do they have a white powder for silk wraps? I have had permanent french with acrylic and gel. I do not want to go back to acrylic or gel right now. Is it even worth it? I've been enjoying wearing colors.

Re: Question about silk nail wraps
Am I the the only LIfer who still uses silk wraps? I don't like the UV exposure from gel and shellac but I've done it a few times. I had permenant french acrylics for a while but so few salons still use acrylic.

Question about silk nail wraps
I still do silk wraps because I think they do less damage than gel or shellac. That said, I really don't know if permanent french can be done with silk. I mentioned it once to my manicurist and she said we'd have to do gel. I wrap because without I bite my nails.

Thanks! So if I do not have them now can they just back fill like they do with acrylic or do I need to soak off and get a new set?
Of course now I just bought a dark polish that I want to wear but I love to alternate between very dark and very light like French. That is what I did when I had acrylics.
