Question about Rice Cereal

When did you introduce this to your LO? Do you put it in their bottle or another way, and any recommendations for which brand to use?

If you use platex nurser bottles what stage nipple do you use with rice cerel?

we used beechnut cuz dd had a milk allergy and that was what the ped recommended.
started with a tablespoon mixed with formula
NOT in the bottle, with a spoon.

We gave it to DD for the first time at 5.5 mo. She was EBF prior to that but even if we FF I would never put it in a bottle unless I was instructed to do so by a doctor for medical reasons. We have it to DD in a bowl.

This time around I think I'll use oatmeal after the whole arsenic in rice ordeal.

I used Earth's Best and fed with a spoon. We didn't stay with the rice for very long though, bc it made DD very constipated. We moved onto oatmeal after a few days, also Earth's Best.

ETA: We started at 4 months.
