Question about property taxes
DH and I are very interested in a home that has been totally renovated in the past few months. The taxes are high but I feel like once we buy and the home is reassessed they will sky rocket. Is there a way of finding out this information without asking their realtor?

Re: Question about property taxes
you can always call the town and give them the house location. They should be able to tell you something.

Re: Question about property taxes
If they do not have CO's for the work then yes your taxes should go up, if they have them then their taxes are current and can still be adjusted but typically lower after you have the appraisal and you going to the town/city.
