Question about property taxes?
Are your property taxes based at all on the value of your house?

according to that assessment letter we got last month, it says its not based on the value of the home but on the spending of town ( i forgot their exact wording)
But i know if the values went up instead of down, everyone would be getting their taxes increased in a heartbeat!
