question about permits
when you get a permit from the town (town of hempstead), do they typically send an inspector to follow up?
we recently had a boiler/hot water tank installed, and we're going to have a fence installed in the next few weeks, so we've put in two permits..my dad said that the town will send an inspector to follow up-is this true?

Re: question about permits
Yes it is. Your licensed plumber/electrician will have to. Have you received your permits? No work before you physically receive them or you will be fined. I speak from experience

Re: question about permits
hmm we had sears do it-we had no heat and it's winter so idk what could have been done to get a permit before the work was done on the boiler
what do they look for with the inspection? does the town do it or the company themselves?
